This term starts off with a three-week intensive seminar to learn the inductive approach to studying the Bible. It is the springboard that will equip you with the tools required for studying the Bible for the entire duration of the course. At the end of the term, you would have gone through most of the New Testament.

You will complete the rest of the New Testament and do a test to demonstrate your knowledge of the background and structure of each book. Next, you begin your inductive study of the Old Testament with an introduction to its ancient world and different literary genres. You will start in Genesis and you will study through to the Song of Solomon.

The third and final term begins with an introductory seminar to understand the writings of the Major & Minor Prophets in the Old Testament. Beginning with Amos you will experience both the broken heart of God and the promised hope for salvation for his people. At the end of the Prophets, you will have an examination to demonstrate your knowledge of the background and structure of each book. Then, the term is wrapped up by studying the book of Revelation in the New Testament which ties together God’s salvation plan revealed throughout the entire Bible.
