WHO WE ARE
From the heart of England to the heart of the Nations, The King’s Lodge (TKL) is an international, Christian community called to disciple, equip, & release young people locally, nationally, & internationally. We are a diverse community of people from various cultural, religious, and societal backgrounds with like-minded hearts to know God and make Him known
The King’s Lodge is a part of the global, Christian missions organization, Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and a campus of the University of the Nations (UofN). As a part of this mission & university, we desire to equip individuals to take the name of Jesus into the sphere of society to which they have been called to. Whether it’s in the medical field or in ministry, we believe that God wants to impact every area of our world today!
HERE AT THE KING’S LODGE
We currently offer many different training courses that run throughout the year. These courses range from DTS to Biblical studies and much more.
OUR HISTORY
Our historic building has been used to influence the lives of countless young people since its founding in 1886.
OUR LOCATION
We are located in the quaint town of Nuneaton, Warwickshire; a beautiful community set in the countryside of England. Nuneaton itself is located in the very middle of England; the heart of this nation. God is moving daily here in this community & we are so blessed to have been called to this place.
Throughout the years, this building has been used for many uses including a young boys’ school, social club, and even briefly as housing for wild animals from a bankrupt circus!
On January 1, 1984, a small group of YWAMers relocated to the Midlands after putting £1 down as a promise to purchase the property & building. They came here with a mandate to influence the heart of England and become a center for further YWAM missions training. Through much prayer & support, The King’s Lodge was established a little while later and has been running ever since.
The establishment & life of this base have been such an amazing display of God’s constant faithfulness. We are blessed to be here, living out the calling to know God & make Him known locally, nationally, & internationally.
