WORD & WORSHIP (DTS)
Psalm 119:9-16
‘By guarding it according to your word.
With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments!
I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.
Blessed are you, O LORD;
teach me your statutes!
With my lips, I declare
all the rules of your mouth.
In the way of your testimonies, I delight
as much as in all riches.
I will meditate on your precepts
and fix my eyes on your ways.
I will delight in your statutes;
I will not forget your word.’
This DTS is focusing on the Word of God and worship. Studying the Word of God and worship are the foundation of the Christian life. Through studying the Word we will get a revelation of who God is, God’s heart for us and the nations as well as how to keep the Word of God in our life. Through worship, our relationship with God grows closer, and through this intimate relationship, we have an impact on many nations.
The Lecture Phase is a time of 12 weeks of training to go deeper with God and to be equipped for the final Outreach Phase.
Through the lecture phase, we will have time to learn, meditate, and also find things that we can apply to our life so that we can mature in God every day.
Some topics that will be covered include:
Nature and Character of God
Bible Overview
Worship and Intercession
Jesus, Sin and the Cross
Holy Spirit
More than that we have opportunities to learn other things. Once a week, we will have music lessons and learn how to write our own worship songs. Also, we will have weekly Bible lessons utilizing an inductive approach which will equip you to rightly observe, interpret and apply the Word of God.
Our DTS is focusing on the Word of God and worship, which means we do not only learn His Word but live it out by applying it. We will know how to love God but also we will train ourselves how to love others and nations.
THE LECTURE PHASE
Matthew 22:37-39 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Of these two commandments depend on all the Law and the Prophets.”
THE OUTREACH PHASE
The Outreach Phase is the time following the Lecture Phase, where you will go out from The King’s Lodge to apply all that you’ve been learning to practical ministry in a local community.
Our DTS will focus on having good relationships with churches, helping their ministries, and supporting them with prayer and worship.

Lecture Phase: £2,890 (Includes Deposit, Meals, Accommodation & Tuition Fees)
Deposit: £150
Outreach Phase: Approximately £1,400 - £1,500 (does not include flights, travel insurance, and the cost of any needed visa and vaccinations)
There is a possibility of fee reductions (lecture phase only) for accepted applicants from certain nations. Applications for fee reductions should be made to the school leader after acceptance and will be considered on an individual basis.
The departure date is NOT the date of the commissioning. The commissioning will be the day before meaning that the school runs from the arrival date to the day before the departure date.
This DTS is a credited University of the Nations course, you would receive 24 credits due to the length of this school (24 weeks).
